From Stardust to Solidarity – A TEDx performance

05.18.2025 by Scott Coe // Leave a Comment

So here it is at last – The video of my TedX poetry/spoken word performance in Lincoln from November 2024. I was humbled to be asked to be the closing performance on the first day at TEDxBrayfordPool in their very special tie up with TEDxKyiv.

This is my 2nd appearance on a TEDx stage in Lincoln, my first was in October 2023 as part of the Chemical X collaboration “Be Yourself / Spectrums” for that year’s closing performance.
This was collaboration with Matt Tango Ellerby, Ewan East and Serena Smith, under the name ‘Chemical X” was composed between us for the 2023 event, on the theme of ‘Spectrums’

WEST ANGLIA / EAST MIDLANDS REAL WORLD POETRY EVENTS MAY 2025

05.01.2025 by Scott Coe // Leave a Comment

Here’s the list of local events in May 2025. If I’ve missed anything you think should be included or needs correcting – please let me know.
Details are to the best of my knowledge at time of writing or amending during the month, please check event with hosts before attending in case of restrictions/changes.
Keep checking throughout the month in case I’ve been able to add anything else, otherwise June’s list will follow in due course.

Thanks to everybody who has fed back to me with updates/comments, your support putting this list together every month is greatly appreciated. It’s of course difficult to police all the information, so in response to some concerns I will be publishing some inclusion guides soon.

About Scott

Scott Coe is a performance poet and artist, and is the former Poet Laureate of Stamford. He believes poetry should always be written from the heart – it’s all about feeling and is always at it’s best when written in the moment, when the thoughts run straight from your soul to the pen.

He also has keen interests in visual and audio arts and is working on new projects in these areas.
